Description
This brand new 3rd floor, 2 bedroomed apartment with sea views & of the complex pool. The complex is in it's own ground, has a swimming pool with children's pool, poolside bar/restaurant, tennis court, children's play area & mini golf.

A free minibus on the complex will take you down to dolphin square throughout the day. The complex is location 15 minutes walk from the main road which is full of shops, restaurants & bars. It is approx 40 minutes walk to the 1st beach & dolphin square.

The apartment is fully furnished to a very high standard, fully equipped kitchen including washing machine, fridge/freeze, microwave, hob, toaster etc. Hair dryer, straighteners & speakers for ipod's

Linen & towels are provided (Not beach towels)

No smoking in the apartment

The apartment is also fully air conditioned which can also be used as heating

Flights are becoming more popular & you can find reasonable flights from most UK airports, Bodrum (1 hour transfer) is the closest but you can also fly to Izmir (2 hour transfer) The cost of transfer are between 20.00 & 50.00 for 2 people I can help with website's to look on if you require it.

The Area
On Turkey's Aegean coast between Bodrum and Kusadasi, Altinkum is a relaxed beach resort. It's a good place for families and anyone looking to relax, but those seeking a lively resort won't be disappointed with the nightlife is fun but not rowdy.

Temperatures get very hot in the summer, although there's usually a breeze to keep things cool.

The main beach stretches from the harbour to a rocky headland, and there are two other beaches at either end. With gentle, sloping sands and calm water, it's ideal for children and lifeguards watch the beach. Waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing and diving are some of the water sports on offer. 3rd beach is the closest which is where the new marina is being built.

Besides the family-friendly beaches there's plenty more for kids. Adaland Aqua Park in Kusadasi, 50 minutes away, it has some adrenaline-pumping rides. Altinkum Aqua Park is just outside town. It's not as big but still fun.
There's a horse-riding centre in Altinkum. Treks take you into the countryside and down to the coast, where you can go for a swim before lunch

DAYS OUT
Ephesus is one of the best-preserved classical cities in the world and you can get a real feel for life in Roman times. It's a fantastic, interesting day trip that's easily arranged from Altinkum. Excursions often stop at Pamukkale too, an area of hot springs in a landscape of dazzling, white crystalised cliffs. You can soak in the mineral-rich pools.
It's worth heading into Bodrum to take a look at the castle and museum. Built in the 15th century, the castle towers over the city. Today it's home to the vast Museum of Underwater Archaeology with interesting displays including finds from local shipwrecks.
Boat trips to Kos & around the Aegean coast are another popular pastime. Lunch is included and there's time for swimming or snorkelling too.

There are lots of bars, restaurants and little cafes in Altinkum serving all sorts of different dishes. Turkish fare is a delicious mix of grilled meat and fish, kebabs and salads. Traditional appetisers, or meze, include stuffed vine leaves, olives, humous and Turkish pastries, but if you want a taste of home, it's not difficult to find British food, from fish and chips to a breakfast fry-up.

Altinkum has a well-established nightlife with dozens of bars and discos including an open-air nightclub. Most of the action is focused around the harbour and Dolphin Square, where you'll find everything from karaoke bars to live music venues.
If you're looking for something more sedate try some of the back street bars or family-style restaurants.
