Description
Our brand new apartment is situated within Alexander Hills, which is a gated complex in Yalikavak, Bodrum. Its 2 bedrooms will comfortably sleep 4 but the 2 double bed settees in the living area will increase this to sleep up to 6 people. This peaceful setting is just 800m from the outstanding Aegean Coast of Turkey and the centre of Yalikavak with its blue flag beaches.

The former fishing village of Yalikavak holds many delights and is not just another holiday resort, but is a thriving, working community. It also boasts a new multi-million pound marina (www.portbodrum.com) with waterfront seafood restaurants serving freshly caught fish alongside Turkish and English cuisine. Turkish people are very welcoming and hospitable and you are assured of a warm welcome in Yalikavak.

A leisurely 15 minute stroll or 6YTL for a taxi (approx %u01412.00) will bring you from the apartment to the Marina or town centre.

The local dolmus bus runs every 15 minutes (approx 60p) and brings you to the nearby Aquapark and neighbouring towns of Gumbet and Bodrum.

Banks and Cash machines are plentiful in Yalikavak as are local supermarkets. Makro, Tesco, B&Q and Marks & Spencers stores are also on the route to Bodrum. A large open-air market is held in the town every Thursday, where locally produced fresh fruit and vegetables are available along with the usual handbags, shoes and clothes stalls. A short bus ride will take you to Bodrum town which is a shoppers paradise and the famous Halikarnas disco, which is the largest open air nightclub in europe. Other local attractions include Bodrum Castle, the Marine Archeological Museum, the Roman Amphitheatre and the Mausoleum (one of the seven wonders of the ancient world). Day trips can be arranged to Kos or Rhodes, you will require your passport to enter Greece.

The complex has a large communal outdoor swimming pool with separate children's pool and play area, crazy golf, cafe/snack bar, and 24 hour on-site security.

Ours is a 1st floor apartment on an elevated site with outstanding views of the mountains, the Aegean Sea and the evening sunset.

Accommodation details:

The apartment is furnished to a very high standard with everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is fully air conditioned, for the extra charge of Ł25 per week. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in rental price. Please bring your own Beach/Pool towels.

Bedroom 1: King Size Bed with understorage for suitcases, 2 bedside lockers, bedside lighting and a triple wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: 2 single beds with understorage for suitcases, one bedside locker, bedside lighting and a double wardrobe.
Bathroom: Fully tiled shower cubicle, WC, sink, mirror, electric shaving point and storage cupboard.
Patio: Wooden table with 4 chairs, which can be used as additional seating inside, if required.

FREE AIRPORT TRANSFER FOR BOOKINGS OF MORE THAN 4 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS.IF APARTMENT IS AVAILABLE.

The owner can arrange rental of a second apartment on the complex if required.

Private transfers can be arranged from Bodrum airport which is a 35 minutes drive away.

Owner can arrange free airport transfers should you intend to hire a car while on your stay. Car hire rates very competitive with excellent cover. Generally around Ł120 per week including airport pick up and drop off.
