Just 18 km from Bodrum, Gundogan is one of the least known but most delightful holiday resorts on the peninsula. The village itself is small and calm. The water, crystal clear and a beach where you can take two steps from your sunbed and plunge into the warmth of the Aegean.
Spend the day down here, having hot corn for lunch and an evening meal of locally caught fish in one of the speciality restaurants built on jetties at the water’s edge.
Wander into the village and you will find traditional restaurants where you can enjoy favourites such as lentil soup, lamacun, pide , durum and of course kebab. There is a post office with ATM machine, and a reasonable selection of shops.
Nature lovers may appreciate the chance to join a guided trekking group to explore the surrounding countryside. A visit by boat to the nearby 'Apostol' Island with its ruined, but romantic, Byzantine church is always a delight.

VILLA ASTERIA

Is a brand new, luxury semi-detached villa very close to the centre of Gundogan (pronounced Gundoan). It is set in landscaped gardens and shares a large swimming pool with 9 other villas on this small complex. The villa sits in the corner of the development and has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

The villa is situated in the low lying area of the village making it ideal for push chairs and the less abled. It is a 5 minute walk along the flat to the beach and centre. Here you will find a beautiful old, village with a variety of shops and restaurants. The bus station and taxi rank are but a 5 minute walk from the villa enabling you to reach all parts of this wonderful peninsula within 30 minutes.


THE PROPERTY:

GROUND FLOOR

A large patio greets you upon arrival, ideal for those wanting to use the BBQ and eat al fresco or just lounge around 10 paces from the pool. The front door opens into a large open plan living space providing a sitting room and well equipped kitchen/dining area. Those less abled will be pleased to know that the ground floor is completed by the first of three double bedrooms and bathroom suite.


FIRST FLOOR

On the first floor the master bedroom has its own small balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The first floor balcony with Pergola covering, relaxing chairs and view over the swimming pool make it a lovely place to finish the day, glass in hand. The third bedroom provides twin accommodation with two single beds. The main family bathroom provides a Jacuzzi bath, and overhead power shower. All Bedrooms are fully air-conditioned, making them a cool retreat from the hot Aegean sun. All have plenty of wardrobe and other storage space.


ROOF TERRACE

The stairs lead up further to the spacious roof top terrace with spectacular panoramic views.


FURNISHINGS

The villa has been furnished to fully meet the requirements of your stay. The fitted kitchen comprises of oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher, iron and ironing board as well as the usual kettle and toaster and plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. There is Sattelite TV, DVD (region 2 only), and CD player. The washing machine is situated in the understairs cupboard along with other cleaning items. Baby equipment can also be provided on request. Linen and towels are provided for use within the villa. Sun loungers are provided for your use.
The villa will be cleaned and prepared for your arrival.

25% deposit required at time of booking (non refundable).
Balance due 6 weeks prior to date of departure.
We also require a security / damage fee of £100 (refundable).
The apartment is ideally to be vacated by 12pm however we will endevour to meet your requirements dependant on the next arrivees.
