Description
This beautiful, detached, spacious, luxury villa was finished build in 2005 to very high standard, approx 200m from the sea. There are fabulous views across Kalkan bay from all rooms. It is built on 3 levels with its own ground floor guest suite. Marble flooring throughout, and fully air conditioned, own gated drive. Stone walled landscaped gardens, with discreet lighting. Please note as a new villa (never rented) I have no more photos as yet, I will add more photos asap.

Changeover day
Preferred changover days, Friday or Monday as most flights arrive these days but can be flexible depending on bookings.

Kitchen:
Quality kitchen with island and granite work tops, cooker, hob,extractor, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, (washing machine in family bathroom) toaster, kettle, ample cooking utensils. The guest suite has its own quality kitchen, as above.

Living Rooms:
Large lounge area with sofa, armchairs, fire place, two balconies, with superb sea views, TV with/satellite, DVD Radio/CD, table and chairs etc.

Other:
The large ground floor guest suite can be reached by a lockable marble spiral staircase from the living area or by its own patio doors (superb sea views), satellite TV, CD.

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
Towels and linen included (Not beach towels). The villa is cleaned weekly with a change of linen weekly, daily maid service can be arranged at extra cost, also baby sitting. The pool and terraces are cleaned daily.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is fully air conditioned (6 units) these units can be used for heating also. May not be suitable for small children/prams or the disabled due to many steps and levels.
Please note there is no smoking allowed inside the villa. The Pool is normaly commissioned for use between 1st May until 31st October, or earlier/later by arrangement.

Outside
The villa has off road parking with entrance gates, lanscaped gardens with lighting, There is a private fresh water pool 9 x 5m with underwater lighting, with 1m shallow end and 2m deep end with stunning sea and mountain views. Sun loungers,parasols, BBQ, undercover eating area with table and chairs.

Coast/Beach
The Villa is situated just above the Mahal Beach Club, an exclusive 'boutique' hotel. Guests staying at Villa Lydia have access to this club and its facilities. The Kalkan beach club is about 10 mins walk, also there is Club Patara all these have restaurants, bars etc and offer free water taxi to Kalkan Harbour. The nearest sandy beaches Kaputas which is about 10 mins drive or Patara, 11 Km of golden sand(voted one of the top 10 beaches in the Med about 20 mins drive or a bus from Kalkan.

Travel
The nearest Airport is Dalaman about 1.5 to 2 hours taxi/minibus ride away, now open all year. Transfers can be arranged by us,(at very reasonable prices) so when the come out of the airport you will be met by the driver with a board with your name on it, so you can relax as soon as you arrive. Also we can arrange car hire at very resonable prices.

Distances
The centre of Kalkan is about 3 mins by taxi or hire car, or walking about 20mins approx 1000 to 1200 meters, Free water taxi to Kalkan Harbour every 20mins from beach clubs May / October 10 mins. Kas is 27Km away.

Further details
There is a small shop above Club Patara which is a short walk away and Tennis courts which can be booked. These are open April through October. There are 2 large supermarkets in Kalkan which offer delivery service.
There is a bank with ATM machine and post office, and many restaurants (about 100) offering some wonderful food and romantic roof-top/harbour settings.
Deep-sea and Scuba diving, boat hire, water sports and leisure trips are readily available from Kalkan harbour and Beach Clubs.

Booking notes
To secure a booking a 25% deposit is required with the balance due no later than 6 weeks prior to departure. A loss and breakage deposit is also required of £200 at time of paying balance, this will be returned subject to no breakages or losses 10 days after return.
In the event of you having to cancel loss of deposit will apply.
